Professional Biography
Rosalynn William-Mensah is an educational leader, literacy advocate, and PhD candidate in Educational Leadership with over a decade of experience in teaching, school leadership, curriculum implementation, and teacher professional development. She is passionate about improving early-grade literacy and educational outcomes, particularly in under-resourced settings. Rosalynn is the creator of the SpReW Program (Spell, Read and Write), an innovative literacy intervention designed to help young learners develop foundational spelling, reading, and writing skills. She has also designed, developed, and commercialized a range of effective literacy resources, including Phonics Flip Books, phonics-based literacy games, Ghanaian-themed leveled readers, and beginner reading packs that support systematic literacy instruction and learner engagement.
Her research and professional work focus on creating low-cost, culturally relevant literacy materials that bridge the gap between research and classroom practice. Through her work, Rosalynn empowers educators to become innovative resource creators, helping to improve literacy outcomes for children across diverse educational contexts.

Rosalynn William-Mensah has experience facilitating professional learning sessions for educators and educational leaders on literacy development, instructional innovation, and school improvement. She presented at the Institute of Education Planning and Administration (IEPA), University of Cape Coast Expo 2025, where she showcased her work on creating low-cost, culturally relevant literacy resources for early-grade learners.
