Biography

Dr Tarisai Chanetsa is the Head of education and learning Sub- Saharan Africa for Cambridge International. Her role is to quality assure all Cambridge professional development programs in the region. Tarisai holds a doctorate in education from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, where she has also lectured in early childhood development. Her key research focus has been on equipping teachers with tools for professional development. Tarisai promotes the development of future ready skills in teachers through her publication in the textbook Science teacher learning for the 21st century and beyond. Tarisai has experience teaching across all levels of the Cambridge pathway having taught mathematics and sciences in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
