Selase Afua Aidoo

Selase Afua Aidoo is an educational consultant and licensed Educational Psychologist with over ten years of experience across diverse educational settings. Her professional journey began as an English teacher in an international school, where she developed a deep interest in learner development and classroom wellbeing. She later progressed into roles as a School Counsellor, Head of Academics, and Deputy Head of School, with her final school-based position focused on pupil support and wellbeing.

Across both local and international school contexts, Selase has worked closely with learners, educators, and families, supporting academic growth, emotional wellbeing, safeguarding, and whole-school development. Her work reflects a strong commitment to creating environments where learners are not only educated but genuinely seen and understood.

She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Haven Bridge Consult, where she partners with schools and educational institutions to strengthen learner support systems, improve wellbeing practices, and enhance educational outcomes. She is a licensed Educational Psychologist with the Ghana Psychology Council and a member of the Ghana Psychological Association.

Selase’s work is grounded in a belief that education must go beyond achievement to human connection. Having once been a child who excelled outwardly but quietly longed to feel truly seen, she is deeply committed to ensuring that no learner feels invisible within the spaces designed to shape them. This conviction continues to shape her work, her voice, and her unwavering pursuit of schools where every child knows they matter.

Selase Afua Aidoo has served as a speaker and facilitator in multiple educational conferences and professional development engagements across both local and international contexts. In 2024, she delivered a talk on emotional wellbeing for Organisation Mondiale pour l'Education Pre-Scolaire. 

 In the same year, she also spoke to educators at a GES-organised conference in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality, focusing on emotional wellbeing in schools.

In 2022, she was a guest speaker at the Pearson Edexcel International School Leaders' Conference, where she contributed to discussions on their English language curriculum. She also served as a guest speaker at the Kofi A. Tawiah, Character First Education Training, engaging educators on character education and holistic learner development.

In addition to these engagements, Selase has facilitated a range of school-based trainings and workshops for educators and learners across various institutions, focusing on wellbeing, safeguarding, teaching practice, and learner support systems. These experiences reflect her ongoing commitment to equipping educators and strengthening whole-school approaches to learner development.
