Biography
Blessing Michael an award-nominated international educator, literacy specialist, and published children’s book author based in Abuja. As a Year 4 teacher at Abuja World Academy and the founder of the Tales & Treasures Literacy Initiative, she is dedicated to advancing foundational literacy through the Science of Reading and data-driven instruction. She holds an M.Ed. in Advanced Teaching and a Master of International Affairs and Diplomacy.
A Google Certified Educator, she seamlessly integrates technology and culturally relevant literature to elevate student engagement. Recently shortlisted for the 2026 Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Award, her commitment to social impact extends globally as a 2026 Diana Award Judge and World Bank Group Youth Summit delegate. Whether directing Lumina Literacy Solutions Ltd. or hosting her educational YouTube channel, she continuously champions educational innovation and global collaboration.
